Notes from Neville Goddard

I started reading and listening to Neville Goddard’s work in the beginning of 2020. Right time to encounter that stuff, because a few months later we were in the middle of a Pandemic. That is still ongoing, and prolonged due to reasons that, (If I were Neville) I would not state here.

Well here are some notes I made, upon reading Neville and before I destroy them I wanted to write them up here for you to learn.

The main idea of Neville’s theory is that – You are the Creator. You create and you destroy. You are responsible for what is happening to you. It is a very good exercise in exiting the Auto Pilot that we live in. Step 0 – Is to determine what you want. It could be anything, good health, relationships, more money, travel, fun anything. Once you have determined what you want, Define what would you be doing once you have what you want. For instance, You want more money. (May be define How much? Because More doesn’t define anything). The question is What will you do with more money? Once you have figured that out, Implement any of the Neville-Techniques I describe below. I am experimenting with some on and off.

Read along. Learn, Implement and Make Notes. If you succeed, it is Swell. If you do not, it is still a good thing. You at least have been able to give it a try. Move on to another way of doing things. Atleast one good thing that came out of this is, now you exactly know what you want!

SATS – State Akin to Sleep

SATS is the short for State Akin To Sleep. You do this exercise at night. Try to go to sleep slightly earlier than your usual sleep time, so you actually have time to do the SATS. Close your eyes. Take a few long, deep breaths. Once you know what is the one “desire” you will be working on this night. Make a life-like representation of what will happen once you achieve this desire. Imagine it if you are a visual person, you may be able to see yourself in it in your mind. Try to make this scene short, under 30 seconds. And replay it again and again until it feels real to you.

I Remember When

Repeat – I remember when <<Enter a current undesirable situation here>>.

Congratulatory Conversations

Imagine meeting an old friend after a long time. Hear them Congratulate you on your <achievement>. Wow. Amazing. Congratulations on your new <job>|<Ferrari>|<Business>. Whatever you fancy.

Revision

This is a very interesting technique. If something happened during the day that you did not like, just imagine it happening in the way that you did want it to happen. When you keep doing this, you create a different future outcome. You can not only revise bad things, You can also revise good things and make them better.

EIYPO – Everyone Is You Pushed Out

Everyone you encounter in life is a reflection of what you imagine them to be in the first place. There is no one to change but yourself. When I changed me – What happened?

There Here, Then Now

Assume that whatever you want is here now. Where ever you want to go, You are already there.

I Become You.

Become Someone else That is experiencing your wish fulfilled.

Gratitude

Have gratitude for what you have. Have gratitude for what you desire to have, as if you already have it.

I wonder

I wonder How am I <this>, or <that> or <other>?

Kahlil Gibran on Children

Your children are not your children.
They are the sons and daughters of Life's longing for itself.
They come through you but not from you,
And though they are with you yet they belong not to you.

You may give them your love but not your thoughts,
For they have their own thoughts.
You may house their bodies but not their souls,
For their souls dwell in the house of tomorrow,
Which you cannot visit, not even in your dreams.
You may strive to be like them,
But seek not to make them like you.

For life goes not backward nor tarries with yesterday.
You are the bows from which your children
As living arrows are sent forth.
The archer sees the mark upon the path of the infinite,
And He bends you with His might
That His arrows may go swift and far.

Let your bending in the archer's hand be for gladness;
For even as He loves the arrow that flies,
So He loves also the bow that is stable.

At the KG Virtual School.

Teacher: you are allowed to bring a stuffy or a toy to your classroom so you can talk to them. When you talk to a partner you look into their eyes. So, who can tell me where should your eyes be when you talk to your partner?

Aa: (raises hand, waves hand to get attention)

Teacher: Yes, Aa. Where should your eyes be when you talk to your partner?

Aa: (unmutes herself) .. My eyes are on my forehead

Trex took my voice away

Me: Aa, listen to me.

Aa: No

Me: Why?

Strawberry Cake at midnight

I co-sleep with my kids in there room. And sneak out of the room, when they are fast asleep. Works well for me. Gets me enough time to spend with them.

Daddy recently returned from a 2 week long trip and has been missing us so hangs out with us in kids room for a little bit before going back out to catch up on work, TV and internet!

Aa: Daddy can you scratch my back please?

Dad: Sure. (Scratches back for 45 seconds) … Ok, baby. Go to sleep now. When you wake up in the morning come to my room, and let me know if you need anything.

Aa: (in a sleepy, deep and slow voice) I need cake now, a strawberry cake!

Me: Laughing out loud ..Well, daddy! make the promises that you could keep! Where are you going to find the strawberry cake at this hour?

Aa: (sulking by now..) I want a strawberry cake. It is not funny. Why is Mommy laughing? she must get a time out?

Me: Still Laughing out loud…
